Arizona is a state located in the southwestern region of the United States. The capital and largest city of Arizona is Phoenix. The second largest city is Tucson. Arizona is the 48th state and last of the contiguous states admitted to the Union, achieving statehood on February 14, 1912.

July 21: Governor Jan Brewer says that she's looking to move the Arizona's presidential primary up to January 31, 2012. The primary elections in Arizona are scheduled on February 28, 2012 with early voting starting on February 2.
