Exit polls have predicted victory for Bharatiya Janata Party. They are projected to win 138 seats, way over the half-way mark of 100. The incumbent Congress party is likely to win 44 seats.
Exit polls have also suggested victory for BJP in Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh.
